Scary Monsters (and Super Creeps)

While we were sitting at dinner our almost-ten-month-old son was in his room, acting a little anxious. This instigated a really funny conversation between my four-year-old daughter and me.
“What’s wrong with him? Is he scared?”
“Maybe.” I said.
“What is he afraid of?”
“I don’t know.”
“But what is is scared of?”
“Scary monsters.”
“Scary monsters?”
“Yeah. Scary monsters and super creeps.”
“What are super creeps?”
“I don’t know…”
I even got her to sing this song:
